PS: public institutions should not endorse commercial providers of digital resources when they can reasonably control their own. Seems fairly obvious to me. Now that @atproto.com exists and is viable, we should regulate this and require the EC and others to run their own infrastructure.

What I don’t understand about Bluesky is why it’s so rubbish for news? My feed here full of dumb takes on the dumb UFC show. Have I just failed to curate as good a list as I have on Twitter? Genuinely curious about other people’s experience of trying to use it for news
